Summary

Amends the

Broadcasting Services Act 1992
and
Radiocommunications Act 1992
to: provide the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) with a greater range of broadcasting and datacasting enforcement options, including powers in relation to: civil penalties; injunctions; enforceable undertakings; and infringement notices; and require the ACMA to develop guidelines in relation to the exercise of its broadcasting and datacasting enforcement powers.
